My Journey Began in the Chair
My journey didn’t begin behind the chair—it began in the chair.
When people ask how I got into the beauty industry, they’re often surprised by my answer.
I didn’t enroll in beauty school because I always dreamed of becoming a hairstylist. I enrolled because I wanted to understand my own hair.
At the time, I was a wife, a busy mom of four, and like many women, I was trying to balance family, work, and everyday life. Behind the scenes, I was also dealing with bald spots, a tender scalp, and hair that simply wasn’t growing the way I hoped.
I wanted to know why.
I began asking questions about everything that could affect hair growth and scalp health. Could it be hormones? Nutrition? Stress? Genetics? Hair care practices? The more I learned, the more I realized there wasn’t one simple answer. Healthy hair is influenced by many factors, and understanding those factors became something I was genuinely passionate about.
That curiosity led me to beauty school, but it also gave me a purpose I never expected.
As my education continued, I realized I wasn’t the only woman searching for answers. Every client who sat in my chair had a different story, different concerns, and different goals. I knew I wanted to build a career that focused not only on beautiful results but also on education.
Today, that philosophy is at the heart of everything I do.
I often joke that my clients are some of the most educated clients in the world, and there’s probably some truth to it. Every appointment is an opportunity to learn something new. Whether we’re talking about scalp health, product ingredients, hormones, nutrition, home care, or the best Hair Extensions for your lifestyle, I want every client to leave with more knowledge than they had when they walked in.
For me, healthy hair begins with understanding it.
That’s why my consultations are never just about choosing a service. They’re about listening, educating, and creating a personalized plan that supports both your hair goals and the long-term health of your natural hair.
Whether I’m working with Hair Extensions, hair loss solutions, or simply helping someone better understand their own hair, my goal has always been the same:
To help every client make confident, informed decisions about their hair.
